Blogging Necessity and The Perfect gift

Blogging pals if you haven't seen these already I am here to tell you these sleek notepads found at Barnes and Noble are an indispensable blogging tool. Why you may ask are these the best? Lots of other similar items out there. Well here's why. First and foremost they are chic but oh so cheap. A whopping $4.50 apiece. But aside from the price, great colors and graphics the best part is you can't close the pad without inserting the pen. As in I can't lose the pen in the quagmire of my purse. And you all know that when out and about a good blogger needs quick access to pen, pad and the latest web address or source to run home and google. Oh and you can get refill pads as well. All right there behind the counter at Barnes and Noble. I have them in every color and so do most of "my girls". because they also make the perfect gift. k

Gift Bag Addiction

Just got back from a gift exchange party and this
darling gift bag santa from Papyrus held my gift which
had to be made of paper. I had all sorts of xmas gift tags
and a pack of xmas thank you cards jammed into santa's
backpack. Very cute and as usual had more trouble parting
with the gift bag than the gift. k

Macys rocks! And even better we finally have one in
Medford, Oregon mere minutes from Ashland. In
partnership with the Rwanda Path To Peace Project

A Gift From K style

Here they are. All packaged up and ready to go to Suzy
over at Lorenzstudio. Wanted to show you all a couple
of things before I send. First of all the packaging came from
my favorite, The dollar Store and then I'm absolutely
crazy about the spiral paper clips that you see in the
photograph. They can be found at Michaels or other
stationery type stores and they make everything look so
much better than regular paper clips. I even use them to
display my earring charms. Thought you might enjoy. And
don't forget I'm giving away another pair of my xmas balls
next month so stay tuned here at kstyle for lots of fun stuff
coming up. k

Styling With Fish, Ceramica Blue

gift potential here. k

Stylin With Fish, Adler

Everything fish seems to run in my family so it's no
surprise that I love these new fish salt and pepper
shakers by Jonathan Adler. Definitely makes my xmas
gift pick list 2006.

And speaking of fish R is leaving for Mexico today for
a fishing trip with J. They're headed for a small fishing
village called La Farra somewhere near Manzanillo. I'm
just a little bit jealous, not of the fishing but of the warmth,
the beach and the lobster eating. Trying to remember why
I agreed to this guy bonding trip in the first place. Oh well
soon it will be my turn. Maybe a trip to Santa Fe with the
girls. Nos Vemos. k

The Perfect Gift!

I love to find the perfect gifts for friends and family. One
of my favorite places to shop for that "darling something"
is Paddington Station here in Ashland. They obviously have
a great buyer for the store because I don't think I've ever
come out of there without a bag in my hand. Yesterday,
after lunch with the "girls" we stopped in and I was
immediately drawn to the almost edible "cupcake"
scarves by co. Too Sweet. They looked good enough to eat
and what a perfect gift. enjoy, k

Gift Bag Addiction

Robert insists that I have enough gift bags to last both
our lifetimes but then I respond that yes while true at
least my habit is cheap and made of paper. So you will see
evidence of my habit here on k style like these gorgoous bags
from designer Ayomi Yoshida which I picked up while
browsing Target yesterday. The line includes a large
group of mix and match pieces all with bold, clean graphics
and gorgeous shapes. The origami crane "bows' were a
knockout. k
