Hi everyone,
Just got back from a pretty traumatic water polo tournament. Waterboy ended up in the emergency room with a severe chemical burn from an over chlorinated pool. Long story short he was "blinded" from the burn and in severe pain. Thankfully he was given a numbing wash which alleviated the pain and then his eyes were flushed etc. With ice packs we made it the 4 hour drive home. Never a dull moment in parent land. So anyway will be back tomorrow with design finds. Right now I need to baby a water logged child. k

Stylin with Baby Sweaters, Etsy

Oh thank goodness I am not raising a baby with Etsy just a click and a paypal hop away. Way too much temptation and amazing baby goodness there. And I used to think the Baby Gap was deadly. Between the knitted and hand made clothing and the adorable softy toy craze I would have been in big time trouble. You can find the above items at kidletconnection and kinderstitches. so so cute, kWednesday, October 03, 2007

Fall Is In the Air
It actually snowed in the mountains surrounding Ashland a few days ago so I think it's safe to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. I really hate to let go however. I just didn't get enough of those warm summer days this season. But it would be fun to get in the mood with a gorgeous bowl made of artglass leaves. Maybe in my entryway or perched on the landing with sun bouncing off the carved glass. I really love this and you can find it here at The Artful Home. enjoy, k

Water Polo'd Out
You'd think I had been playing water polo all weekend with the the guys given how tired I am but I really have no excuse other than that screaming and rooting for 3 days straight is exhausting. Waterboy, number 2 in the pic had a great tournament. For any of you moms and dads out there thinking about a great sport for your son or daughter water polo is fantastic. Such athleticism but minimal injury potential, Will be back tomorrow after some rest and unpacking. kThursday, September 20, 2007

I love this pottery by artist Jennifer Allen. I mean I really love it. You know I see a lot of stuff in my Kstyle travels. Sometimes it feels like design overload. But every once in awhile I just "click hot" and I find myself looking at something that has K written all over it. i will own a piece of this sometime soon. k

Designer Dog Duds

Well I really don't know what to say about these "couture" doggie outfits from Puchi. Yes I've always loved beautiful clothes, I really do but I'm just not sure it goes beyond my own personal closet. Would I if I could? Hmmm, I think I'm going to leave this one up to you. Yay or nay. What do you Kstyle readers think? Should we dress our doggies in the world's doggie's finest or should we be content with their gorgeous natural coats. i'd love to know what you think, k
