Inspired By Nature and a Wow
I have to say that before I started Kstyle I thought I knew what a ring looked like. But never in my wildest dreams could I have envisioned a ring like this. Or a necklace for that matter with little floating pots of grass. This work by Agnes Maria really takes my breath away. How wonderfully creative and again I think you can tell that Spring is calling to me. Spent the day out on the river with my boys today and it really did feel like our long winter season is finally starting to give way. k
Cleeeeever, Schleeh Design
How clever are these "malleable paper pad sculptures" by design firm Schleeh Design. Each one and there are quite a few other designs can be twisted and shaped to your whim not to mention printed in the colors of your choice. I love these. Useful and fun at the same time. how cleeeeever, k

Follow The Gorgeous Silk Road
There's something just so sumptuous about silk and right now I'm really in the mood for anything that feels bright, cheerful and happy. All of the pieces above are absolutely gorgeous and you can find them in order of appearance at David Cheah Art and Design, Silk Trading Company and Moma, a breath of fresh air, k

The Wow Factor, Malcolm Zander
You have to promise me that you will spend a bit of time on Malcolm Zander's glorious web site featuring his wood turned art. I wanted to download it all but I'm just going to have to trust you! I love the lace inspired theme of this work. Who would have thought that lace could be translated like this in wood. And even more inspiring Malcolm Zander came to his art later in life after a 3o year career in bio chemistry. such an inspiration, k
Tailor Made For Me, "K" Of Course
I thought about saving this fabulous monogrammed necklace for Holly's and my next "Holiday Scramble" contest but I just couldn't resist posting today. I mean they even had the "K" just calling my name. And well Holly's last name starts with an "A" so how perfect is this. Holly I think we should both buy these in honor of our contest, I'm off to order these Sundance originals, k

For The Pottery Lover, Jennifer McCurdy
I love everything about this pottery from artist Jennifer McCurdy who resides and works on Martha's Vineyard. You can see how nature inspires her work but it is her amazing ability to capture movement that I find mesmerizing.. And then the purity and edited nature of the white palatte so appeals to my personal aesthetic. absolutely breathtaking, k
It's a Dog Dog Thing, Takeout
These ceramic sculptures by Porcelain Grace are just cute beyond words. Wouldn't I love to get the real thing. A tiny little puppy presented in a takeout box. well I can dream can't I, k

I Love Whimsy and Aardvarks
Well I'm not a big ring person although I have to say that if Iwas I would love this little guy by French company Boucheron which just shouts from the finger tops cute! There is just something about aardvarks that speak to me. especially when their eyes are made of rubies. k
I Love whimsy And Coin Purses
By now most of you know that I play mahjong every other week with "my girls" and we sort of have a competition going to see who can come up with the cutest coin purses to hold those quarters that we so boldly bet. Well I may not be the big mahjong winner but I think this monster coin purse by stitchpikie.com would definitely win the prize at least until I post something even cuter on Kstyle. love the eyes, k

Hot Handbags Under $100
I ordered one of Leslie Ann's Black Bags about a year ago and I was so pleased. Not only was the price fantastic but the purse was absolutely adorable. Her website is loaded with all sorts of items including several different styles of bags so I have decided to feature her work on Kstyle's slideshow Saturday this week. stay tuned, k
Feeling Like Spring
Am loving everything that reminds of spring right now like these fused glass rose plates from clarkemade.com. I'm not sure if we get it here in Oregon that the first day of spring has officially arrived but I'm hoping that maybe a little bit of Kstyle Karma will help. So look for some springy posts in days to come. i am so so beyond ready, k

I Love Whimsy, Jewelry 10
I love the whimsy and the workmanship that goes into each of these unique pieces of jewelry by design company Jewelry 10. And these are just a few of the many pieces which make up this very creative line. Be sure to plan on spending a few minutes on this site which is just as adorable as the jewelry. And don't miss the "How to Wear Page". I promise you've never seen ideas quite like these. so fun and amusing, k

Leave A Comment Day
Hey Kstylers. It's time for a change of pace and it's about that time for Leave A Comment Day. For those of you who may be new to Kstyle once a month I ask you to take a moment and leave a comment. Its fun to know who you are and well just say hello.
This month on Kstyle I'd like to ask you a question. Take a look at my favorite post topics over in the sidebar or just scroll down the page and let me know what your favorite posts are. Or is there something you'd like to see me do more often here at Kstyle.
So introduce yourself, even if you are a regular and let me know what YOU are liking. thanks in advance, k
Oh and the friendly creatures you see above can be found at fluffly flowers here.

Handcrafted Excellence, Susan Kerr
Love love this work by jewelry artist Susan Kerr. So very feminine and just lovely. The rose rings in the first photo are my absolute favorites. Be sure to check out Susan's website. Lots and lots of eye candy here. enjoy, k

Inspired By Nature, Tania Radda
What I find so hard to believe about the work of artist Tania Radda is that each tiny equisite peice is made entirely of wood. The delicacy just seems to defy the medium. And then their is the nature theme so whimsically and beautifully played out. Unexpected in the leaves which wrap a teacup or the vines that mimic the handle of the teapot. Wouldn't it be fun to have a collection of these gorgeous works. another wow, k

Slide Show Saturday, Le Cupcake
Hi everyone,
Welcome to Kstyle's Slide Show Saturday. Am posting early today because R and I are actually taking off for the weekend sans teenager and I really want to leave the laptop at home. But couldn't leave you all without a bit of eye candy to see you through the weekend so sit back and enjoy the "baked" art of Kylie Lambert. She owns a bakery shop in Sydney Australia called Le Cupcake and unfortunately doesn't deliver worldwide but who knows, you may find yourself in Sydney someday and in need of a special cupcake. total edible eye candy. k

The hats Have It, Acme Hats
These hats by fiber artist Laurie Chambers of Acme Hats are just the perfect ending to a good week here at Kstyle. I love the colors, the graphic motifs and the playful whimsy which so artfully blend into the perfect whole. The only problem is that for me I'm pretty sure I would rather find a special spot in my home to show off these gorgeous works of art and well forget my head. loving these,k
