This is my second post today in "The Wow Factor" category on Kstyle and it is a double wow. Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry the next Guggenheim museum is scheduled to break ground in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the year 2012. At 320,000 square feet it will be the world’s largest Guggenheim museum with over 130,00 sq. ft. of gallery space. Almost completely surrounded by water and in a desert environment the complex will be breathtaking in scope and engineering. Just looking at these photos mesmerizes me. i can only imagine what seeing this architectural wonder in person would feel like, k

WOW...A Jewish architect designing a museum that is the legacy of one of America's pre-eminent Jewish families for Dubai, a country with latent anti-Jewish sentiment. I don't know what's worse, the self loathing Jewish architect, or the secularized Guggenheim foundation, or Dubai? Ask me to be excited about this when a synagogue opens in Dubai.
