Clean and Simple, Claudine Lesk

Love love the clean simple lines and fabric motif of Claudine Lesk's notecard line. And given that previous posts on Kstyle have been rather high end lately I thought it appropriate to leave the higher end but oh so awesome real live quilts that she does at least a click away. so to see more from this amazing artist well just click away, k
And on another note: I am in the market for a new laptop. Mine has been been schlepped around the world and while has served me well it is definitely time to move on. But help fellow bloggers. I am totally overwhelmed by all of the choices. So here's what I need and if you have any advice to offer please please weigh in. My biggest need is first and foremost speed. As in I am working in Photoshop CS2 and maybe I even have Dreamweaver 8 open at the same time. I am tired of slogging around these high end graphics programs. I am prepared to spend a bit of money for said speed although a laptop it must be because I like to work "wherever". I am open to the intel based macbook that can operate windows. But all I really care about is speed. I am not a gamer and I would like lighter rather than heavy. A fifteen inch screen would be fine. That is what I have now. I hope someone out there has just been through this dilemma. What to get??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. k

I love the fabric collages.
Can't help you much on the laptop front, I am using an AMD Athlon desktop which I run Photoshop on just fine.

I just got another Toshiba Satellite after my one was stolen. I do a lot of graphics and photo stuff, and it's been everything I've wanted. I schlepped my other Toshiba around the world, too and it was great.

Get that Mac... I have a MacBook Pro. It screams with high end graphics programs. And well, it rarely ever has any issues.
PS: LOVE those images...

If it's graphics then it has got to be a MAC

the only choice is a mac. it saves you not only time in the long run, but money and it is so easy to switch.
as nike says - just do it!
:-) good luck!

I'm so happy with my Macbook after 2 laptop PCs I could cry. Without it I probably wouldn't even blog.
