Hi everyone,
Just got back from a pretty traumatic water polo tournament. Waterboy ended up in the emergency room with a severe chemical burn from an over chlorinated pool. Long story short he was "blinded" from the burn and in severe pain. Thankfully he was given a numbing wash which alleviated the pain and then his eyes were flushed etc. With ice packs we made it the 4 hour drive home. Never a dull moment in parent land. So anyway will be back tomorrow with design finds. Right now I need to baby a water logged child. k

Oh! So sorry to hear about the accident, it sounds painful :( Hope your son gets well soon and there's no lasting damage.

Thanks everyone. He is doing much better today and we are looking into various strategies to help him manage his eyes better when in these over chlorinated pools. There's always something isn't there. I remember asking for a drama free week but clearly no one was listening. k
Oh my gosh, that must have been a lot of chlorine. Was anyone else injured?
