River Walk, Ceramica Blue

You may have seen these stone mats from New Zealand but I just wanted to say how much I love the concept and nature theme. We spend a lot of time on the river and every time I see these mats I hear the rushing sound of river water. I would love to have one perfectly placed somewhere in my home. always a reminder of the rivers just a stone's throw away in Oregon, k

Salt and Pepper in Style

I love these salt and pepper shakers by Gala & Gino. The shapes are inspired by the abstract forms of old Turkish water taps. so subtle and beautifully stylized. loving these, k

Hot Handbags Under $100

I was browsing through favorite site J. Crew and I was supposed to be looking for a pair of red flats when I got very sidetracked by this absolutely adorable purse. Makes me want to book a trip to Martha's Vineyard or at least the Oregon coast. so freah and fun, k

Handcrafted Excellence, Rob Glebe

I love this work by metal artist Rob Glebe. A fresh interpretation of the vessel with a rustic and tactile sense that just shouts originality. The first one with the pearls is my absolute favorite but then I also love the others which are so clearly inspired by nature and showcase one of my favorite themes of leafs and trees. i would love to own one of these, k

So many beautiful original pieces and you can choose from a variety of finishes. very chic, k

Haute Green 2007, A Glimpse

Amy Haskins " Haute Green 2007 "

I think of all of the shows going on in New York this week Haute Green 2007 would have been number one on my list to see. I can't wait to see all the design from this show and all the others that trickle through the blogosphere this week. To see a few more pics of the Haute Green show go here. enjoy, k

Passionate About Glass

I'm hoping that if I keep posting images that scream "Spring" like this gorgeous glass by artist Ulla Fornell that we can keep it coming here in Ashland. And with any luck maybe we can even coax this reluctant Pacific Northwest city to nudge it's way toward summer. I'd so love to set an outdoor table with a piece or two from this glorious collection. k

And short posts tonight because I will be glued to the "American Idol" finale. Although I really wasn't into it this year like in season's past still can't resist the big night! k

Weekend Fun With K

If you've been following Kstyle you probably know by now that one of my best buddies darling twin daughter S is getting married on 7/07/0007 this summer which by the way may go down as one of the most popular wedding dates ever. My friends and I have been planning a shower for weeks and believe me we threw it in style on Saturday. Here are a few pics from this epic event which was absolute beauty and style from the gorgeous bride to be and her equally gorgeous twin sister to the decor, beautifully catered brunch and fabulous home of my friend V. I'm hoping to have a private photo op of this home down the road for Kstyle. Needless to say it was a perfect backdrop to a fantastic party. to be continued on 7/07/0007 k

Lovivng Cho Cho Designs

By now most of you know that I am a total sucker for change purses and that we sort of have an ongoing contest in my mahjong group as to who has the BEST one. I'm pretty sure one of these little guys by textile design company Cho Cho would win first prize. I absolutely love this whole line. The Cho Cho aesthetic has k written all over it. will definitely own one of these someday. k
